Over the past week, I have been having a lot of issues with my Windows 10 operating system.
Computer information:
Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 22H2
Installed on 2/10/2021
OS build 19045.5608
1. Blue screen of death error critical process died.
I have run SFC scannow command. The latest log is attached below.
Ran DISM checkhealth, scanhealth, restorehealth. nothing works. I get this error
I have also run the Sheck disk and nothing changed. I checked all of my hardware and they passed all provided HP scans.
3. Now when I start my PC the computer freezes and I have to hard restart into safe mode to do anything. I checked the event log and have received a DCOM error during each freezing event.
There are over 3,000 of these errors attempting to start a different service each time just today.
4. Crroupt ultiman.exe file
While trying to fix my PC I sent it into MSConfig diagnostic mode and lost the ability to log in. I found the ultiman.exe password hacking trick to change the accessablity button on my login screen to command. I did not know I needed to rename the file and now I can't change it back which made it corrupt. DISM can't find the file. I downloaded a Windows 10 ISO file and extracted an esd, wim, and win file from it. I tried to use DISM restore health with a source file location and I got the same error as before that it can't can't find the file. I have tried it three times with the same error.
Finally, I ran Malwarebytes, Spybot, and a scanner from Microsoft which came up with nothing. I have also noticed after restarting my computer today into safe mode with networking that some of my firewall and anti-virus software will not work anymore. I ran the Microsoft scanning software at 3 pm for over 4 hours now that I have restarted the computer it will not load at all, same thing with Avg, ZoneAlarm. Spybot and Malwarebytes still work.
I have also noticed the following programs in the services part of MSCONFIG Zang AV, Zang_DAF, and Zang Manager Service. Are these programs a virus because they are not listed in my apps folder at all? I had never seen these services before the problems all started.
I don't have a Windows update restore point because I have not updated lately since there have not been any new updates. I also downloaded MediaCreationTool_22H2, a Windows 10 setup file that allows me to upgrade my PC and possibly fix something. I have been scared to try it and don't want an even bigger mess.
What should I do next? Do I need to send any more information?
