[SOLVED] Windows 10 hangs on restart but boots ok post shutdown?

Have you read Brian's instructions here?

No need to go there (although they are there). Instructions were posted in #6, and I expect people to pay attention when I say any form of, "Try this first, and if it doesn't solve the issue then try that," along with supplying detailed instructions for both "this" and "that."

Hi - it seems as if the Wiseboot was interfering and last three boots were ok - I have removed the Wisecare software... will monitor.
Is it important to reactivate the SLEEP and HIBERNATE options ?

Reactivation is entirely your choice. I do like the ability to put the PC into sleep mode during the day and I use fast start on some devices where it does not cause problems but generally with SSDs it is not needed.

Click on Start and type sleep. Select Power and Sleep settings; then scroll down to Additional Power Settings and select. Control Panel will open and you need to select "Choose what the power buttons do" on the left. This screen will allow you to change the sleep and hibernate etc.
