[SOLVED] Windows 10 Upgrade Fails

It seems to fail in the same way as before. I assume you mean the setupact.log and setuperr.log is what you want to see? I've attached what looks like the latest ones of those. Let me know if that isn't right.

I uninstalled 3 things I saw for MS Visual Studio and rebooted. It seems to fail the same way - at about 30% and then it rolls back. I've attached the setupact and setuperr logs from this attempt.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

 1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
 3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
 4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
 5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 6. SFCFix will now process the script.
 7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
 8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

Yes - specifically what happens is I double click setup.exe to run, it does something for a few mins and reboots the computer, then I get a percent showing, that gets to not quite 30% (usually 28 or so), then the computer reboots and shows the undoing changes screen, then it reboots one more time and I'm back in Windows.

Here is the output:

Yes - it has 2 PCI cards
1 is an nvidia GeForce 1080
1 is a usb 3 controller card

In addition - there is the oculus rift attached via usb as well as a pair of wireless Logitech headphones

I unplugged it all - including removing the PCI card and unplugging the network - unfortunately it fails the same way where it gets to almost 30% then undoes all changes and reboots back into windows.

Same dialog when I come back into windows as well I think - https://puu.sh/EST4h/47a58c4d5c.png

I've attached the setupact and setuperr logs.

FYI - I'm about to be away from my computer for a couple days because of the holiday, so may be delayed responding. Happy Holidays :)
