Well, it still says to already be installed:
KB3035131 is already installed.

Should I do reboots between each steps btw?

No, not unless requested.

Please do the following.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Thanks. Let's do the following again.

Download and attempt to install KB3061518 (which is one of the two you were having issues with). If it fails to install please zip and attach your c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log

It says: No important updates are available.

As optional updates it only shows Skype.

Is it fixed now? Shouldn't there be hundreds of updates now?

Depends. Let's verify. Please do the following.

1. Click the Start button and type cmd.exe into the search box.
2. Right-click on cmd.exe that appears in the search results and select Run as administrator. Answer Yes to the UAC prompt that comes up.
3. Copy/Paste the followinig into the command-prompt window and hit enter.
wmic qfe get hotfixid | findstr /i /c:"KB3124001" >1 && notepad 1

4. Notepad will open after a few moments. Let me know what appears within the notepad file.

Thanks.

Good. That means you are all updated. It doesn't appear that those two updates were preventing other updates from installing. You can verify this by going to either Windows Update History or Reliability History. Let's do Reliability History so you can see.

1. Click your Start button.
2. Type reliability into the search box.
3. Click on View reliability history that comes up in the search results.
4. You can click on each day going back a couple weeks and at the bottom half of the screen you will see any update/program that was installed or uninstalled. You should see the current updates being installed.

Let me know if you are able to verify this.

Well, it seems there were updates installed so only these two updates had problems.
