Do you want me to upload it somewhere for you to have a look at?

Any ideas as to what might have caused the issues?
Or, more importantly, what I can do/not do to avoid it happening again?

If it's working, there's no need for the log. The issue were the remnants of an older update that had to be removed.

Unfortunately, nothing, because we cannot predict what MS will bring to us in the future.
