Yep :smile9:

Please do this:

System File Checker
- open the Command Prompt as Administrator (Tutorial)
- type or Copy & Paste the following:
sfc /scannow
- wait for the scan to complete, if the result is not No integrity violations found upload the new CBS.log

This is what the Command Prompt windows shows:

Code:
C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

So what's next?

Hi,

That is good. Please run SUR tool again like you did on post #6 I want to make sure the new log is clean.

Amazing, it finally installed without any error!!! Should I try and install the rest of pending updates through windows update?

Well, what can I say? You were extremely hepful, immensely professional even this is a forum without an economic interest and support is for free.

Knowing I don't have to, I'm going to donate something. It won't be too much, but I hope it serves to support your site at least in an infinitesimal part of the effort and time you dedicated to my problem.

Thanks a lot.
