Windows 8.1 errors before Windows 10 upgrade

am now trying an update search to see if KB5009624 reappears in the update list.

If not, i'll go and try a W10 inplace upgrade
 
Attach a fresh copy of the zipped cbs.log to your next post.
 
Sorry for late response... Covid passed by and hit family severely...

Here comes a CBS after all waiting installs done with success (including KB5009624 that continuously reappears).
Will also redo KB5009624 install and provide CBS for diffs...

No problem. I hope you and your family got safely out of it.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Yes. Looks normal to me.
In message #48 we used Process Monitor. which produced a logfile. You provided a filtered version of that log file in message #51.
Please provide the complete log file LogFile.PML. You may zip it if that makes the download smaller.
