Windows 8.1 (possible) LogMeIn bug causing 0x44 BSOD

Thanks for the update, hopefully yourself or someone else will get a chance to be able to use the program, and we'll be able to see if this is the patch.

No crash yet with hamachi running, fingers crossed. My gateway is still not up, so I'm not actively using vpn though
 
My Hamachi client "updated" to version 2.2.0.130 (from what I believe was 2.2.0.114 yesterday) ..... I have not had a crash yet ... could this update have fixed it?

I must say, however, that even though my Hamachi client is installed and powered on, my VPN is down because my gateway on the gateway network is down due to a power outage at the office (due to the snow and ice there), so I will have to wait and see how my client machine behaves once that is up.

Just thought I would update you guys.

Well, I just applied the likely final blog post update (unless this fix turns out to not work) - BSOD Kernel Dump Analysis: LogMeIn Hamachi Windows 8 and 8.1 Bug

It looks like our work here is done, gentlemen. Great work all around :grin1:

One small thing to add about that release note that I posted a screenshot of before: notes for the previous few releases are similar, so maybe this was a bug introduced while fixing a different one (more likely IMO) or they have tried a few times for the same problem (unlikely because I didn't notice bsod until the 114 version, and I've been with auto-update on, and a daily user)..... Just my thoughts
 
I believe this is the bug fix for 0x44, it seems to be. As I noted, update us as the days go on if a crash occurs.

My friends and I use hamachi to play Minecraft, and we thought the BSOD issue would never get fixed. I googled it today, and saw that you guys had already taken care of it! A huge thanks from me, take care! :)
 
48 hours since my last crash (which was on v114) .... all is running well since the update to v130.

My VPN gateway on the remote side is also back up since yesterday and I am usingthe VPN actively ... and no crash yet. Fingers crossed. :)
 
Thanks for the updates, friends. It does indeed look like that update was the bug fix we all were waiting for.
 
A few users on PC Help Forum had the exact same problem with the Stop 0x44, so I've directed them to the latest patch.
 
I've gotten more comments on my blog post saying no crashes since updating, so I am definitely saying for sure that the latest update was the fix.
