This is a Win 8.1 home 64 bit computer. I think that it started out as a Win 8 and they upgraded it to a Win 8.1. The media I am using is Win 8.1 home 64 bit iso. Does it have to be a Win 8.1 OEM disk?

No, I'm just asking because I see the setup is crashing because of the COMPONENTS hive yet again. Let me know if the owner is willing to try W10. Then we'll try to get it working.
