Thank you.

As you can see, the one item has to do with the torrent program you already uninstalled. The other one is PS Vita\app\c53a2c7f9ee7614d\geometry dash\steam_api.dll.

See here about it and let me know if you would like to get it back/restore it.

See you tomorrow.

Thank you for your help and time, I highly appreciate everything you do. I do not have the intenton of restoring the file.
Have a nice day/night! I'll be waiting for your response.

Hi, Mikuro.

Let's do two more checks.

1. Run Malwarebytes (scan only)
  • Open Malwarebytes you have already installed.
  • Click the little gear on the top right (Settings) and when it opens, click the Security tab and make sure about the following:
    Code:
Under the title Scan Options, all the options are checked.
Under the title Windows Security Center (Premium only) the option is NOT checked.
Under the title Potentially unwanted items all options are set to Always.
  • Click on the little gear to return to the main menu and select Scan. The program will start scanning your computer. This may take about 10 minutes, but in some cases it may be take longer.
  • When finished, you will see the Threat Scan Summary window open.
  • If threats are not found, click View Report and proceed to the two last steps below.

If threats are found, make sure that all threats are not selected, close the program and proceed to the next steps below.
    • Open Malwarebytes again, click on the Scanner, and then on the Reports tab.
    • Find the report with the most recent date and double click on it.
    • Click on Export and then Copy to Clipboard.
    • Paste its content here, in your next reply.

2. Run AdwCleaner (scan only)

Download AdwCleaner and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click AdwCleaner.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan Now button.
  • Once the scan completes, AdwCleaner shows you all detected PUPs and adware. DO NOT check anything found, and click Next.
  • If any preinstalled software was detected on your device, a message notifies you that your action is requested. DO NOT check anything, and click Cancel to continue.
  • Click the Log Files tab.
  • Double click on the latest scan log (Scan logs have a [S0*] suffix, where * is replaced by a number, the latest scan will have the largest number)
  • A Notepad file will open containing the results of the removal.
  • Please post the contents of the file in your next reply.
Note: Click Skip Basic Repair if you are asked to.

In your next reply, please post:
  1. The Malwarebytes report
  2. The AdwCleaner[S0*].txt

Great!

Let's see fresh FRST logs now.

The system is now clean, thus, we can check all the other issues.

First, I would like you to uninstall Avast Free Antivirus. You can install it at the end of the procedure, if you like, but since we are going to work with Windows Security now, I would like to have a possible cause for issues less.

To uninstall Avast:
  • Download the Revo Uninstaller (Free Download) and save it on your Desktop.
  • Double click on the exe file created on your Desktop to run the installer, and follow the instructions to install the program.
  • Double click the program's icon to open it.
  • Write in the search area, on the top left, the following program:
Code:
Avast Free Antivirus
  • Choose the Uninstall tab from the menu and let the program to create a Restore point.
  • Choose Scan, and then the Advanced mode scan.
  • Select all the Avast items found, Delete and Next.
  • Let the procedure be completed and click on Finish.
  • Restart the computer.
Let me know when you are done with the above.

I followed the procedure above, I selected all and everything avast related, but strangely enough, after I restarted it, avast still runs in the pc, saying that it updated itself.

Repeat the procedure once more, please. Follow the steps very carefully and let me know what happens.

When searching "Avast Free Antivirus" in the search bar, it says "Found 0 programs". Should I try to uninstall avast from avast itself?

Please try to uninstall Avast using the Revo Uninstaller again. Is Avast listed in the Installed Programs?

Where do you see the Avast then?

Run FRST and attach the 2 logs, please.

Clearly, the procedure to uninstall Avast with Revo Uninstaller was not correctly done.

We are going to manually remove the many remnants at the moment.
