[SOLVED] Windows defender deleted itself, I can't scan pc for malware and viruses

ChkDsk Scan
  • Right-click the Start button and click Commandprompt (Run as administrator).
  • A window appears. Typ CHKDSK and press the enter key.
  • Wait until CHKDSK is finished.
  • Download ListChkdskResult.zip (ListChkdskResult.exe by SleepyDude), extract it and save the file ListChkdskResult.exe on your desktop.
  • Rightclick

  • On completion the tool will save a textfile called ListChkdskResult.txt on your desktop.
  • Attach this text file to your next reply.

It puzzles me the fact that this machine 's recovery partition looks fine and sound, but the machine can't access or repair itself through it ( I have to manage with a usb containing the Windows Media Tool)
 
The system drive seems to have some issues.
The following might take several hours to complete. You can do it overnight if you like.

Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories.
Right-click on Command-prompt and select Run as administrator.
When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter afterwards.

Code:
chkdsk c: /f
At the question "Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)", press Y.
Restart the system.

Do not press any key during the restart. This will allow CHKDSK to start.
Wait for this to complete. Please note that this may take several hours. Let it run even if it looks like the process has stopped!
On completion, the system will restart automatically.

Here's the checkdisk log.
Unfortunately I'm still experiencinig the message "display driver Intel HD Graphics for Windows8 (R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered" and the screen keeps turning off and on becoming black.

Chkdsk did some repairs. Some bad sectors remains.

Step 1:
Download
51ab99ff51ec9-CrystalDiskInfo.png
CrystalDiskInfo.zip and save it on your desktop.
Extract the .zip file into a new folder.
In this new folder, run the tool DiskInfo.
When the tool is finished, it will show some information about the hard disc.
Note: Resize the window so that all information is visible.
Take a screenshot. Upload the image file to a file-sharing site and post the download link.

Step 2:
Run the command sfc /scannow in an elevated commandprompt and report the result.
If it fails, copy the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\cbs.log to your desktop.
Zip the copied file and attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.
