Windows Fails or BSODs When Updating, SFC Fails (OS: Windows 10.0.18362 Build 18362)

it's set to pcie, there's another setting for igpu memory which can't be disabled (you can only pick auto or a non zero amount). Looking around online it looks like a lot of people were irked by this with this board and they had to revert to an earlier version than mine to be able to disable it. I also don't see the integrated graphics in display adapters in the windows device manager weirdly enough.

I came across the same issues, but it was not clear to which version they revert to be able to disable the iGPU?

That's strange, since the iGPU does show up in the MSInfo32 file from the BSOD Collection App? Do you see other (unknown) devices with a yellow exlamation mark in the device manager?

Ah, I didn't notice the "Show Hidden Devices" option, now it shows up. There's no option to disable, but it does give me the option to uninstall. Looking at the properties the machine thinks it's not connected for some reason.1693485263116.png

Code 45 is normal so far as I know when a device is not in use, you could test the HDMI port of the motherboard to see if the iGPU will work or not?

I tested it and it does not work. The screen does not display and the igpu device in the device manager is still inactive.

Hi,

Open an elevated command prompt, run the following command and post the result.
Code:
msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

Hi, I ran the command which prompt up the troubleshooting tool for hardware and devices. I let it run and it found an issue with my huion tablet. I let it fix and restart, then ran it again and it came up with the same problem (see picture). I then told it to fix the issue again and got this prompt (see second image).

Hi,

Open the Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) right click the iGPU device and choose, properties. Can you enable the device from the general tab?

Hi,

Please change the Primary Display option in the BIOS from PCIe to Auto to see if the iGPU will work then.
