Windows Server 2012R2 - Failing to install rollup patches

Let's try another way:

Remove Update Manually
1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter
wusa /uninstall /KB:4019215

4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.
 
I get a message saying the update is not installed on the local machine, i havent ran the update since running the fix just to note as advised in the previous instructions

FRST Registry Search
1. Click your Start button and choose Control Panel.
2. In the upper right corner ensure the View by: is set to Category.
3. Select the Programs group.
4. Click the Turn Windows features on or off link. This will bring up the Windows Features dialog. Wait until this dialog populates with information.
Note: This loads your components hive which is what we want. Please keep this dialog open while you perform the remaining steps.
5. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
6. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
7. Copy and paste
KB4019215 into the Search box and click the Search Registry button.
8. When the scan is complete a notepad window will open with the results. Please attach this to your next reply. It is saved on your desktop named SearchReg.txt.
9. You may close any remaining open windows now.

Export Component Based Servicing


  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type regedit
  2. When you see regedit on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When regedit opens, using the left pane, navigate to the following registry key and select it by clicking on it once.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\
  4. Once selected, click File > Export....
  5. Change the Save as type: to Registry Hive Files (*.*)
  6. Name this file ComponentBasedServicing (with no file extension) and save it to your Desktop.
  7. Right Click on the ComponentBasedServicing file on your Desktop and choose Send To -> Compressed (Zipped) Folder.


Once done please upload ComponentBasedServicing.zip via DropBox OneDrive or SendSpace

No that update is not installed when i check via "installed update" its not listed and i checked via Get-Hotfix in powershell and its not listed either ive attached the output of the get-hotfix results

Interestingly, the latest log does not show corruption. Could you please run both SFC Scan and DISM and attach the logs before we proceed in order for me to verify all is clean.

No luck

it let me install a tiny Server2012 update that was new, but fails on the rollup patches each time

ExpireBox | cbs.zip

i tried installing December / Feb (non preview) and May indivdually none worked

ive attached the CBS log

Cant apply June patch, do you think i need to open a case with Microsoft?
