[SOLVED] Windows Server 2016 Failed 4.8 error 0x80092004

Verify the catalog database by using Esentutl
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following commands one at a time into the command prompt and press enter after each.

  • Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.

  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.

  • After you find the Command Prompt, right click on it and select Run as Administrator.

  • When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

After that above ^ I decided to try the KB again in case your next reply was going to be retry the KB... and it worked... no idea how or why
 
So if I understand corectly this update is uninstalled successfully?
 
When I ran the command you gave me, thats all it said with that popup. Then I tried applying the KB again, and it worked.

Are there any remaining issues or is everything working well now?
 
Everything is working as expected and the latest CU installed. This was weird.. Thank you for your persistence!
