Thanks for the help!

I don't believe you were infected but wanted to clean up some bits and empty your temp folder. Please do the following.

Retrieve Components Hive
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to SendSpace and just provide the link here.

Please try the following and let me know the results.

Remove Update Manually
1. Click on the Start
Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press enter
wusa /uninstall /KB:2661254

4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.

If it is successful, please repeat with the following command.
wusa /uninstall /KB:2284742

Hi.

wusa /uninstall /KB:2661254 prompted an error

error2661254.png

wusa /uninstall /KB:2284742
prompted, that this update is not installed

Please do the following.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

I will download IE11 and try to install it after a clean boot.

First: Thanks!
Second: Will donate ASAP!

Of course...i still have hope...
I think the problem is known...

attached the zipped log.

Thanks!

Just to let you know: I already tried to uninstall IE9 a month ago (deleting it from the components), but it didnt work. Still runs.

View attachment IE11_main.zip

Tried it. I do get the following error messages for both tries:

Error: 14003
The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

Maybe the .net Frameworks are corrupted?

dism ... /restorehealth doesnt work in win7. Do you know any alternative?

I've worked on many of these logs and have only ever solved one of them. They are extremely difficult to solve. Do you have a Windows 7 x64 with SP1 DVD that you can use so we can do a repair install? I know that will work.

OK. I am downloading one. Dont have DVD installed. Can i run it from an USB ? Can you advise me on a usb boot media creater?

Thanks!

Hi!
Tried to install Win7 from USB, but got 0xC0000005 Error.
Will now try to
1) chkdsk
2) unlock volume
3) repair MBR
from Windows PE.

Yes. Same error.

1) chkdsk didnt find an error
2) volume wasnt locked
3) repaired

trying the win7 installation again.
