Some new issues were found and fixed already.
Can we close this threat ?

Hi Peter, thanks very much for you help with my issues. One last question, windows update still shows failed updates in the past, although the most recent ones (since the fixes) have succeeded. Is there some way I can force the older failed updates to install?

Cheers

You can ignore any failed updates from the past. If you check for updates and none are listed as needing installed then they have already installed successfully or were superseded. Windows Update is extremely good at detecting what updates are needed on the system.
