[SOLVED] Windows Update Error 800070490 From last 1 week for KB3003743 & KB2992611

Can you go back to where you hid the 34 language packs and unhide and install the French one only?

i will try it

but i think this issue is minor and it happens randomly ,MOSTLY after reboot

Great news. There is still an error in your log however if things are working now I'll leave it up to you whether you want to try and resolve this issue.

That's what I'm looking at. It appears that the French language pack may be causing the issue. I'd like to first try installing it and then see if the errors go away. They we may be able to uninstall it. Not sure yet.

ok here is update

that error is gone from last 10 reboots I did not seen that error

after installing French update

it gives me new update client update 56 more updates

as my change setting was on auto install it currently trying install updates

attaching CBS log folder and some ss

Some Questions

1.if I uninstall French pack then dat corrupted reg again will show up in logs ?

2. system is currently virus free right ? and what AV soft you suggest as kas is really resource hungry
also owner of system novice in Computer so 3rd party AV required I guess or Malware Bytes + Anti Exploits is Enough

1.if I uninstall French pack then dat corrupted reg again will show up in logs ?
We'll be trying that later. I'm hoping when we uninstall that it will be fine but we are not ready yet.

2. system is currently virus free right ? and what AV soft you suggest as kas is really resource hungry
also owner of system novice in Computer so 3rd party AV required I guess or Malware Bytes + Anti Exploits is Enough
Yes it's virus free. I would recommend uninstalling the AV that you have and installing Microsoft Security Essentials. and then run Malwarebytes on a monthly basis.

now currently installed all avaible updates

after two restart and two time more checking updates attaching CbS logs

I checked logs I think error is still there

You actually have two separate issues. The issue now showing in the SFC scan was likely caused by update KB3022345. We'll fix that now.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Step#2 - SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

For the other error I would like you to do the following.

Step#1 - Export CBS Registry Key

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type regedit
  2. When you see regedit on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When regedit opens, using the left pane, navigate to the following registry key and select it by clicking on it once.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing

  4. Once selected, click File > Export....
  5. Change the Save as type: to Registry Hive Files (*.*)
  6. Name this file CBS (with no file extension) and save it to your Desktop.

Once done please upload this file via Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace.
