Windows Update Failing

I am able to get to it via command prompt but not through gui.

Is a fresh install an option for you?

Well it looks like that might be the only option. I really don't want to do it, but not sure what else I can do at this point.

This might be a stupid question. Can I do a fresh install on a different drive and copy my data over? Or will that most likely bring the issues with it?
