By the way I don't recommend the use of any of those programs:
- Ashampoo WinOptimizer 17
- Ashampoo WinOptimizer 2016
or similar because they have a very high potential to create problems messing with the Windows Registry, etc.

Yes, a fair point. I used them in the past as I was desperate at one point, this was before I got in touch with sysnative.com .

Now that things seems more stable do you have any updates waiting to install?

If you do skip/hide all with Preview in the name and try to install the others, if any update fails post the KB number and error code.

No not yet, I've yet to find an image that doesn't have a corrupt 100Mb system partition

Hi,

You may want to try rebuild the System Reserved partition!

Thanks, for this tip, I will try this out sorry about the delay in replying I've had a hardware failure on my machine which I've traced down to a PCI Firewire card. This may have been instrumental in some of the BSoD's I had bee encountering. My Studio machine is down while I try and source a PCI-E equivalent replacement. I also wanted to say thank you so much for all the help you gave me you are an absolute star.
