The installation is counterfeit.
You have a Key for an Acer computer on an HP system built 2 years before Windows 7 was released.
The SLIC table claiming to be Win7 compliant is an impossibility - and can only happen if there is an Activation Exploit present.

You need to reformat an reinstall with genuine media and Key.

Thank you Noel, I had no idea this was not a genuine OS. I had bought this computer a year or two ago from a private party and everything seemed to be operating all right including the updates to Windows until a couple of months past. I'll have to decide whether to keep this machine, convert it to a Linux system or donate it.
