[SOLVED] [WinServer2008R2SP1 x64] can't install KB4012215 or KB3207752

Thanks BrianDrab for the edition of the post.

Should I send the requested files directly to Softwaremaniac?

Thanks!

Bring me a copule of days to do that. I have a complex configuration in Kaspersky rules, permissions, etc...so I need to test if I can restore them completely later.

Thanks!

Hi!

Well, today I can test without the Kaspersky antivirus and the same error while installing the update.

Any next step? Thanks!!

Hi! Here´s the log. View attachment CBS 20170901.zip
If this info can help: I test and I see two available updates:
- KB4034664 (the problematic one)
- KB2894854

If I select only the KB2894854, the system install it, brings me an successfully installed message, but when I check for updates again, it appears again (as well as the KB4034664).

The attached cbs.log is the one created after that successful update, and the later failed update. So as I see, the KB2894854 is reporting an OK, but it is wrong.

Thanks again.

hi again.

Hi!

Well, after doing that I tried to install the updates and 5 updates appear listed. (here's the log)
I try with KB4038777, looks good and restarted after that update and if appears to be successful.

Windows Update again and only three are listed.
KB4041083
KB2894854
KB890830

Tested KB2894854 alone....no errors, but still pending after finish. :banghead:

Test again with all three remaining...restart after installing...

...KB2894854 is still pending :grin1:

I download the standalone installer fot the KB2894854v2 from the Microsoft site, it runs ok and appears in the update list as applied, but for Windows Update still remain as pending.

I think that the worst part if finished until the next monthly rollup...what do you think?
