It may take some time for that icon to show up but it's not necessary. When you are ready to upgrade to Windows 10, simply do the following.
1. Ensure everything is disconnected from your computer except critically necessary things (i.e. mouse/keyboard are necessary).
2. Reboot your machine in to a clean boot state by following the instructions in the link below.

3. Download the Media Creation Tool and run this to do the Windows 10 install. You don't have to wait for the icon to show up.
I'm glad you are activated again. You had issues with some services that needed repaired. Let me know if things appear to work better now.
