Hi! I recently, upgraded to windows 10, only to meet with a lack of internet. After trying all sorts of way from power management option, changing the network options, uninstalling network adaptor to installing new drivers but to no avail, I decided to revert back to windows 8.1.

Immediately, I noticed some apps in the window tiles are empty and do not work. After searching online, I tried sfc /scannow and DSIM restore health. Even though sfc/ scannow said corrupted files are successfully repaired, the next time I ran the function, the same thing repeats which means the files were not really repaired.

SFCFix log is as attached below:

At the end of the day, hopefully I can fixed the corrupted files and try to upgrade to windows 10 again.

(CBS file was 10mb, which did not allow me to attach?)

Thank you!

Hello and welcome

Due to the precise nature of your corruption, you will receive help from a user named LiquidTension. He's one of our senior trainees here who's in his final phrase of his studies and needs to gain some real world experience in specific areas of Windows Update. This means that he'll be assisting you, but that I will first need to double check and approve his fixes before he posts them to you. If anything this is a good thing for you because it means that you've got at least two of us watching over your thread, but it will unfortunately add a slight delay between each reply. I hope that you understand and can accept the need for us to train up new members in this way in order to carry on doing what we do here, however, if for any reason you object to this setup, I will happily take on your thread myself.

Thank you very much for your understanding. We'll be with you very shortly.

Attached is the txt from #8.

At first when I tried to increase size of the log I accidentally clicked 'Apply' instead of 'Clear log' as needed, not sure whether that affected anything. After which I tried again to change and they showed me 'Capture.png' and 'Capture1.png'. But after closing everything and opening events viewer again, I got 'Capture2.png' which seems that log is cleared..?
