OK, good. KB4012218 must have taken care of all that. So which program are you trying to run that is dependent on KB3033929?

Correct.Shortly before your last post, I had an ILok update, which did not work. Then, I did the trick described in my original KB3033929 post. Now, I cannot reproduce the problem at the moment, but it always reoccurs. Could it be that the KB3033929 will be automatically removed from the list of installed hotfixes by the scavenging process of Windows because it is already included in the newer rollup patch?
I'd like to inform you that the check for KB3033929 in the installer is flawed as this patch is also included in the monthly rollup patches which superseed the original KB3033929, which might not be listed as installed even if it is by a later patch.

Note the section titled "iLok License Manager > Why am I getting an error message saying that Windows 7 is not up to date?" for further information on your question. Note that we indicate "update KB3125574 or update KB3033929".
Just had a thought. Is this update hidden on your Windows Update screen? I'm assuming back in 2015 you hid the update.I delayed KB3033929 back in 2015, because it caused a lot of troubles on many machines.
