Until recently I have been able to update all important windows updates. I am trying to install all optional updates especially language packages but every time I do I have to reinstall many important windows update all over again. I am doing this because in order to install AMD software all windows updates need to be installed in a Win 7 PC. SFC has been checked and is valid. This is my CBS folder WeTransfer. Originally the CBS folder was ~50 GB but I deleted some log files and restarted PC. I also have done the SURT/DISM scan. I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7601.24023 Service Pack 1 64-bit PC.

Do not install the Previews as they cause more issues than good. Do any error messages come up when installing Adrenalin?

According to the log, see attached. Besides what I am really trying to do is get rid of video slicing that I get when watching video streaming on some sites. I'm never sure if it's the graphic card or something else since I get the same thing when using the Intel graphic card. This is why I am attempting a clean install. (Clean Install AMD Graphics Drivers | Community). Just in case these are my specs:

I think the warning on the website is just a precaution. In all my years of handling computers, I've never had to install an optional update as a prerequisite for something else to work.
Did you try an older version?

I don't believe this is related to Windows Update and I would therefore recommend visiting our Hardware forum or Windows 7 forum. Are there currently any optional updates to be installed?

As you can see the important updates need to be installed. Hopefully I won't have to go back and forth with the installment as I did before. From the previous attachment you can see those are the only optional updates to be installed and at this point I don't know if I need them. I'll post on the hardware forum and I would appreciate it if you would help in that thread if you could.

Wait. All of these updates need to be installed? If so, go ahead and try all the important ones and attach CBS.log if any fail.

OK. I have completed updating the important updates. At first it stated that 5 were not successful so I retried. After the second try all important updates were successful. The CBS folder is now 3 GB. After restarting PC. Windows Update informs me that there are now 5 optional and no important updates. See attachment.
