What happens when you check for Windows Updates?
 
Reset the FSRM Service
  • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog. Then type cmd in the box and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open the elevated Command Prompt.
  • In the Command Prompt panel, type fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\ and then press Enter.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Try to update again and let me know the result.
 
Something else:

Open an elevated command again, and type the following commands, one by one, followed by Enter.

Restart and try to update again.

My last suggestion:

  • Press Windows + I to open Windows Settings. Then select Update & Security.
  • Go to Troubleshoot and then click Additional troubleshooters from the right side.
  • In the next window, click Windows Update and then click Run the troubleshooter. After that, the Windows Update troubleshooter will begin detecting problems associated with Windows updates. If any issues are found, follow the on-screen instructions to fix them.
Some people report that they run the troubleshooter twice to work. You can do that too. After that, restart and try to update again. Result?
