[SOLVED] [10v1709b16299 x64] Windows keeps installing the same updates

OK. Now open up Revo Uninstaller and locate Office 2016 from the list. Select it and choose Uninstall. The program will uninstall and then offer you a Scan button. Ensure you select Advanced and do the Scan. It will show registry remnants that are found. Select all of them and delete them. Then continue and it will show you file system remnants...select all and delete these as well.
 
If you are unfamiliar with Revo Uninstaller you may want to try to install a small program and then uninstall it using Revo so you understand the process.
 
Checked for updates - no updates found

Tried to reinstall Office 2016 - got an error there was an installtion - so i used Revo to uninstall and rebooted.
Retried to install Office 2016 - success. Rebooted.
Checked for updates- my computer is up to date.

No problem. Thanks for sticking with me. Go ahead and re-install anything I had you remove and you may remove Revo if you wish. Take care.
