I had my fingers crossed but to no avail. It could not complete the important updates (KB4074594 and KB2267602).
Here's SFCFix.txt and the CBS.log.

Okay, I manually updated Windows Defender then called up Control Panel for updates but KB2267602 was not listed for update, only KB4074594.

When I tried to update KB4074594--Monthly Quality Roundup for Windows 8.1 x64 based systems-- again, it shows the same problem as before, "We couldn't complete the update--Undoing changes"
Here's files.

Here's SFCFix.txt. Ran KB4074594 but it failed to complete, so here is CBS.log file.
We don't seem to be going anywhere. Do you think my update problem is fixable or should I just start fresh? Thanks.

I believe it is fixable. However, it is difficult and it will take time. If time is crucial for you, your best bet would be a repair install.

Please let me know.

If it is fixable we will stick with it. Time is not a problem and I appreciate how difficult it can be, I don't know how you cope.

Let's try to get you to Win10 Pro and fix it that way.

1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.

We want to get the ISO so that you don't have to keep downloading which can take hours.
