[SOLVED] BSOD on W7 upgrade to W10 & in driver verifier, no dumps. FIX: FEW drivers (and devices) removed; TPKD was the last one which blocked the upgrade.

1) Open administrative command prompt (ACP) and type or copy and paste:

driverquery /si

2) When this has completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Uninstall any unused software (last 30 days) that could be reinstalled after an upgrade.

Device manager, in view tick "show hidden devices", expand "audio inputs and outputs" and "sound, video and game controllers": send a screenshot.
I don't see an "audio inputs and outputs" tab

There were BSOD today and yesterday without dump files.

High Definition Audio Device has an error: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". Been like that for a while, not sure what to do about it. I've uninstalled it and let Windows download the driver again, but nothing more than that.

Sorry zbook, LiveKernelReports is still empty except for an empty WATCHDOG folder.

Create a system restore point, uninstall that device and reboot: it should find it if it exists.

It reappeared, but windows says the installation failed. Device manager says it has a driver.

It's not disabled, but it has a warning next to it. Still says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" in properties.

It reinstalled NVIDIA high def audio, Realtek high def audio

Did not reinstall NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device, High Definition Audio Device still has the same problem: Failed installation but shows up unable to start

Uninstall and reinstall both Nvidia and Intel GPU drivers using DDU:

2) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
3) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.
4) re-install the Intel GPU driver from the Intel website

huzzah!

(hopefully I can reinstall my Focusrite driver once I've upgraded without any BSODs on verifier now)

BSOD, same error: "0xC1900101 - 0x40017, The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation"
SetupDiag logs.

I did just realise however that I didn't clean boot before upgrading -_- Let me know if I need to do it again
