No change from that. Not even with Safe Mode. Here's the fixlog if you need it

Please run FRST again and enter the following into the search box: winlogon.exe;rpcss.dll.

When complete, hit Search Files and post your reply here.

Re: Cannot Troubleshoot Windows Update or Upgrade to Windows 10. "Cannot Repair" dll

Any ideas? Cause there are a few files I need for a presentation on Wednesday that are on my PC so I need to know whether or not its worth waiting for these replies for as long as I have been. Dont mean to rush but I have been very patient.

Re: Cannot Troubleshoot Windows Update or Upgrade to Windows 10. "Cannot Repair" dll

I can help you get the files, but I'm unsure that we'll be able to get you booted up without a reinstall.

Re: Cannot Troubleshoot Windows Update or Upgrade to Windows 10. "Cannot Repair" dll

Do you mean a reinstall of Windows or a system reset?

Re: Cannot Troubleshoot Windows Update or Upgrade to Windows 10. "Cannot Repair" dll

Would I be able to reinstall Windows without the installation disk though? Is it possible to create another disk for it if need be or add the installation to a usb device? Also, do you reckon this could solve the issue? Cause if so I'm down to try that.
