  • Download the enclosed file
  • Save it in the same location FRST64.exe is saved.
  • Run FRST (FRST64) as you did before
  • This time around Press the Fix button and wait
  • When finished, a log file (Fixlog.txt) will pop up and saved in the same location the tool was ran from.
Please attach this file in your next reply.

- memory dump from the crash after the frst

Open FRST64 as before. Copy and paste the following on the FRST64 Widows and click on Search Files:

Searchall: ntkrnlmp.exe;smss.exe;Winlogon.exe

Lets check if the registry is in place. There was no entry in the registry for Winlogon on the previous results.

Check your bootable flash drive. Open the Sources folder. See if there is an Install.wim or an Install.esd file.

Try this command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WIM:E:\sources\install.wim:6 /LimitAccess

You can use that switch. Make sure the C is the osdevice leter: Run:

BCDEDIT | Find "osdevice"

If the Partition is C:, then use it.

if the \online is an issue, use /offline.

Dism /Image:C: \offline /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WIM:E:\sources\install.wim:6 /LimitAccess

Lets find the file that the debug check indicates as the problem.

Open FRST64 as before. Copy and paste the following on the FRST64 Widows and click on Search Files:

smss.exe

A search.txt will be produced in the same location Frst64 is saved.

Also, see if under the boot options in the BIOS, Secure Boot is enable. If it is, disable it and test.
