Only if it's unallocated. Cloning makes an exact copy of the drive you are cloning, sector by sector, even unallocated space.Does cloning make a drive "unallocated"?
Not likely as the cloned drive would be copied to the new drive and would also copy its formatting.Could it be that perhaps the new drive was formatted into something else, and that's why this all failed? Because the old and the new drive had different formats to them?
