Error 0x80070057 failed to copy file

That's the one! I was agonising over trying to recall it, since the name is a tad generic. Glad to see they're still making software..!

Yay! That's cool. I will give it a shot. (In a few days, I'm still on a break from this ordeal, lol.) But thank you so much guys for all the support, maybe there's still some hope! :-)

I'm back! Sorry for the long absence. Life kinda got in the way and I haven't had the time to work on this issue. Yesterday
tho I was ready to give this another shot and try cloning with the O&O DiskImage xilolee recommended; but of course I run
into a brand new problem immediately. Now, for whatever reason, I'm unable to hook up both drives in question (the defect
and the new Seagate drive I want to attempt to clone it to) simultaneuosly to my computer.
It was working before! Why not now? I haven't done anything! :(

I've tried all the USB ports (both drives are hooked up via usb ports), but I just can't get windows to recognize both
drives at the same time. It's either one or the other. And it's not anything wrong with my USB ports per se because
individually they work fine when I test them one by one with both drives. I thought it could be some silly IRQ conflict and tried
to look that up, but doesn't seem to be the case either. So... I'm once again at a loss...

It's always fun isn't it, when you have a computer problem, leave it for a while, come back, and then you have another problem
randomly popping up that you have to fix before you can even attempt fixing the first problem. Love it.

So yeah, I'm once again at a loss here what do do.... because if I can't fix this new problem I wont even be able to
attempt the cloning again with O&O DiskImage...
