Error Code 8007000D Causing Failed Update Win7

And you're still not able to uninstall it, is that right? So basically, you're able to install it over and over, but everytime you try to uninstall it, it says that the update isn't installed. This is weird. I'll see if any of my colleagues encountered a situation like that.

Right. I get the confirmation that Installation is complete. Windows update shows that the install was successful. Even immediately following the installation, I tried uninstalling it in the CMD prompt and it shows that the update is not installed on the computer.

Follow the instructions below please.

Alright, can you list me a few updates (KB numbers) you need to install?

Here are the important updates showing up now in windows update. It may help to know that for the longest time, it was showing 7 important updates, and was constantly attempting to install 5 each time I shut down. There is a total of 12 in this list. I will not attempt to shut down at this point, as when I click on my start menu- the shutdown button is still showing "Install updates and shut down"

Don't know if this is important, but I find information is power... so here's some more info...

After checking for updates (6:12 PM), it shows KB3071756 and KB3033929 as Failed. I did not attempt to install them. All I did was check for updates, as I needed to provide you with the numbers which needed updating.

They show Failed at 6:15 PM, minutes after I checked for updates.

Bingo! Found the culprit. I'll put a fix together tonight, and after that, the updates should be able to install without any problem.

Here, let's see if this will do the trick.

You need to drag and drop the SFCFixScript.txt I attached on top of SFCFix, like shown in the .gif :)

I think I screwed this up... I see that it says "not using a script file". It looks like I did not apply script properly. I did this again with the proper script and this is what happened:
