I don't believe it! WU is indicating it has successfully installed 12 updates- although many are pending a restart of my PC. I will not restart until I hear back from you. You rock!

You can restart your computer and see if it can install them :) After that, you are free to click on the "Check for updates" button to see if Windows finds more updates to install, and install them if needed.
 
2 more updates were found, downloaded and installed successfully. It's the first time in a long time where I've seen the green shield with the checkmark indicating there are no important updates!

I thank you for your work on this. How does one go about giving you Thanks through the forum? You did a great job- working this through where several other sites came up woefully short.
