Extremely High DPC/ISR Latency Windows 11 Laptop

In the event that the pc has suffered a serious error, such that you can no longer use it, you will need the macrium recovery media (cd or usb drive) to be able to use the program and to be able to restore windows with the image you have previously created.
 
I see! Alright, so I think the tutorial you linked may be a tad outdated with the current software? I'll send some screenshots of what I've done so far and what it looks like, so basically I opened it, went to other tasks, went to create rescue media, and then picked the target (my USB), it says 7.45 GB in that photo because I already created it at the time I took the screenshot, when I looked it up I saw some stuff about clicking the "advanced" thing, and from there I could see all the drivers as mentioned in the tutorial on here and the WIM, but I didn't really change anything

Boot/reboot (start/restart) your pc.
Press the key on your keyboard that brings up the boot menu.
ASUS specific: it could be ESC or F8, or another one (F2, or DEL, should be the key to enter bios settings).
Select your macrium recovery media.
Let it work.
After some seconds or minutes, macrium reflect should appear on your screen.

Note: if you have a fast boot option in the bios, and if it is enabled, you will not be able to boot by using a USB flash drive.
Or you will not be able to access the bios boot menu, or the bios, using the appropriate keys.
Therefore that option has to be disabled.

Alrighty, I think that was a success, I took some photos of what came up, I clicked the option to screenshot onto desktop but it appears it didn't work, I took some photos with my phone though, does that all look correct? If so, what's my next step?

Looking back at the tutorial, I guess the next step is to create a full image of my system? This is everything that was checked by default, should I check the one that says recovery (none)? As well?

The disk where my os resides is about 233GB in size.
If I created a backup for the entire disk, macrium would finish the task after hours.
Instead, I moved all programs and data (that I could) to a DATA partition and left the system (almost) alone.
In this way, I create a backup for the system partition and the other needed partitions (EFI system partition, microsoft reserved partition, recovery partition) only.
About 30.5 GB in total.
The latest backup occupies about 17.7GB and it took less than 20 minutes (the disk is an ssd).
I included also a free partition to maintain the partition table.

All of which is to say that with everything you've selected (380.52GB), it could take you between 4 and 5 hours, or even more.
And you will need around 220GB available (or even more) for the backup.
If you don't care about that time and about that space, i.e., you have that time and that space and many more, proceed.
Otherwise, try to move some data to another (safe) place.
 
That's the thing, where exactly does the data go? In your case, where did you back up all your data? 200+ gigs, did you put it on a USB or something?
 
Hey, so first off I'll say nothing went wrong, but I was pretty impatient and just created a system restore and downloaded the chipset, it took me to an ASUS downloader so I felt safe enough to go ahead, turns out there were quite a few chipset things I needed to update, things that sucks is that latency mon still reports insane latency, may be worth mentioning, but I gamed for the first time in a while but just with my controller, and I had no latency problems, I'm gonna run another trace
 
I am considering honestly just doing a factory reset, and seeing what that yields, if it doesn't yield anything, I'm gonna try to get a replacement or to get someone from Asus to look at it, my warranty ends in late August

If the PC wasn't plagued with stutterings and/or clicks/pops/buzzes, don't believe to latencymon and uninstall it. ;-)
The latest geforce drivers for your gpu (rtx 3060 laptop gpu) seems to be: 531.79, released Tue 02 May 2023.
 
I'll update that, is there any reason WHY latency mon would continue to report high latency when it has disappeared? Btw, about it disappearing, I'm not entirely sure yet, I'll have to use my laptop for longer to be sure

Did you install the Asus chipset that I wrote to download only?
Because that one was the old version...

So no, I downloaded the new one, I'm sure it was new b/c your link took me to an installer that automatically gave me the new ones, anyways, my issue still persists, so I've been backing all my stuff up and I'm gonna do a factory reset, if that doesn't fix it, I'm gonna go to an Asus Warehouse before my warranty runs out

Hi there. I'm using a Zephyrus G15 (2022) model and I'm experiencing the exact same problem as you.

This issue makes me feel like throwing my laptop, which is only a few months old.

I've tried almost everything I can think of, including changing drivers to newer or older versions for different hardware, downgrading the bios, disable unused hardware, etc.

But I still haven't solved it and I'm still looking for a solution.

By the way, can you tell me what program you used to do the tracing your system? I'd like to give it a try.
 
Hey everyone, so new update, I did successfully back everything up, I discovered that since I bought my laptop from Best Buy, that even though I don't have a Best Buy Geek squad warranty, and only manufacturers warranty, I still have to go through them with any warranty issues, so I did do that, and they sent my laptop to get the motherboard replaced, I got the laptop back yesterday, but the issue still persists, so I'm going back today
