[SOLVED] First Post - Windows 7 Update Failure

I'm not sure if this means anything but wanted you to know.
Thanks. I don't see any difference in the log so we can continue.
If you see the message "Preparing to configure Windows, Do not turn off your computer." best to let Windows do the job.

Step 1:
Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.

Step 2:
Perform the instructions in message #108 again.

Malwarebytes seems to ask for a restart frequently, like every day. The computer also did another "Preparing to configure Windows, Do not turn off your computer." message and took a few minutes to switch to the "Shutting down . . . " window, and took another couple minutes to restart. This was after the last Fixlog and a restart.

Dunno why Malwarebytes needs to restart. Is it updating itself or maybe due to the fixes we are doing. Just allow the restart.

I forgot to add that during the DISM update, Malwarebytes popped up with the "Restart Now" dialog. I always select the option for the next day. It must be something about this troubleshooting process that is making it think it needs to restart.
