I chose an image from the movie Avatar, as my avatar, because I am lazy, unimaginative and........ well that pretty much covers it.

I am simply a Doctor Who fan and the Cybermen are one of my favourite foes to pit their wits against the doctor.
The Daleks are another favourite and i used to talk like one without the aid of a glass of water.:grin1:

Though #3 was OK, there really has only been one Doctor in my book - Tom Baker. And yeah, I'm a fan and watch anyway, but I preferred #4 [preferably with K-9 and (OMG, who was the associate who was almost a savage and a great fighter and carried a knife?) though Sarah or the others were OK too with Tom there]. You didn't think the real arch-enemy was The Master?
Tom Baker a great doctor but the greatest in my book was Jon Pertwee third re-incarnation with his frilly victorian style clothin and vintage car.
Ah the savage was Leela and was played by Loiuse Jameson who later appeared in Bergerac if that ever got over to the states.
Sarah played by Elizabeth Sladen she was great and died unfortunately last year of cancer.
The real arch enemy was the Daleks no question there although the master played by Anthony Ainley who was just one who portrayed him was up there.
Remember Davros half Dalek half mutant so called master was exterminated by the Dalek no 1 the black Dalek back then.
My current avatar is Gort, the robot from the 1951 version of The Day The Earth Stood Still and modified by Athene on SF. :bored2:

When I started with #3 was OK, I should have said he was great - most certainly would have been enough to make me a fan and far and away above all others except #4. I still have a scarf just as long as that made by my gf at the time - great in winter but rarely recognized for what it means. Back then, the Doctor had a limit of 12 re-incarnations. If still true, I believe the current one I can see in the USA is #12. Does that still apply or did they come up with some explanation why he now has more or got reset or whatever - otherwise what are they going to do when this one moves on?
AHH - Leela! Thanks - it was driving me crazy. "I serve the Doctor - HE is a Time Lord!"
Sorry about Sarah. Watched but didn't think much of her spin-off series.
Yes, I remember Davros - not really much in terms of a true adversary for the Doctor (by comparison). I chose the arch-enemy as The Master for the same reason I'd say the Red Skull was Cap's rather than all Nazies - but an argument can be made either way. But who were those superfast robots that were practically indestructible? I remember them from #4 but can't remember what they were called or what happened to them and if they've been seen since, I don't remember.
