I couldn't see, because the event viewer is acting up, & I went ahead & cleaned events after I did the vbs scrubbing-out of Office. So the sooner you can give me the all clear for me to move forward to the Langa, the better.

I don't see any reason that you couldn't perform the repair install at this point.
