Internet drops on irregular basis

What are "BT headphones"?

What brand, model, other info can you provide to me about the headphones?

EDIT: Just realized that BT is probably Bluetooth.

No idea why you would get such a message about pairing when you loose the Internet connection. I would assume that possibly the content you are listening to is being streamed via Internet?

Please test the Admin user account.

Also, find or buy an Ethernet cable because that is where we're going next.

I need to know if the Internet drops while connected to Internet via Ethernet cable.

BT is indeed nluetooth, no worries ;)
But afaik, BT connection should stay connected even if internet wasn't connected.
Yes the youtube vid was streamed over internet. But internet drop shouldn't imo affect BT.
Could it be that all devices that are connected, like also modem is for internet, and now this BT headphone, are dropped all by no reason ?
I do find that strange.

PS ; i do have an ethernet cable and I will test
PS2 : I just did a test without internet and BT stayed connected and I could listen to saved music on my machine...

Sorry, I missed posting this part -

To get to the Event Viewer - hit WIN button; type eventvwr.msc in the Search Box. Click on that etry or Event Viewer in search results.

Yes, I replied some post above.
I always have to tap the WIFI key on my keyboard OFF and ON to get the internet to reenable.
It does not do it by it self - even if I wait for minutes...

Let's try and fix the Internet problem first before we venture onto BlueTooth.

We're 45 posts in and things keep getting added and nothing is being solved. :)

Regards. . .

Ok I understand but BT and internet should work independently afaik. By deduction, that would give us a clue imo.
That said i'll try out the admin user.

A clue though to what?

Can you say WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that every time the Internet drops, the pairing disconnects too? EVERY SINGLE TIME - NO EXCEPTIONS?

As I mentioned, BT and wifi drivers are often packaged together, especially for Intel consumers.

Oh man - ease down will you ;) It's not life threatening you know ;)
I just gave you my thoughts on things and hoped this BT drop could be a solution for you techs. I haven't said this IS the solution. Just a mention....No more no less....
I will run the app - thnx

For info -

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi have shared the same 2.4GHz frequency spectrum for a long time, which can cause the radio signals to interfere with each other.

So if something is interfering with the Internet, it could be interfering with BT too.

You know, there are about 10 channels in the 2.4GHz range.

If somehow your BT device is causing the interruptions in wifi, the wifi channel should be changed.

Do you know how to do that in your router?

Thank you for the files - I just realized that your the one with the Atheros internet!

Try the Admin user account.

Go into the Event Viewer Log and see what other messages you have. They may tell us something.

Try Ethernet.

How often does the wifi go out?

If it is like every 2 hours, run Ethernet for 4 or 5 hours, please.

First i ran the eventviewer on my normal user account. It had 8x 100001
So 8 drops this day, right ?
Fist is in Flemish, second in english ;)

Please check each of the 8 10001's because as you saw with the 10000 codes, not all meant success. I just loked at a handful of entries from my system today which woke up and connected to wifi.

Yes - now use the Administrator user account for *whatever*.

The same log will record entries.

That's not what I meant. I just noticed that when internet dropped my BT device also dropped out. So the 2 dropped out simultaneously.
I didn't mention that BT would cause the internet drop. I only suggested that both dropped out. And that this is interesting to know.
