OK... we now know that user profile corruption is very likely not the problem. Please be sure to re-hide the Hidden Admin User Account.
Then I started to thinking about the fact that Intel's wifi update includes Bluetooth update as well (I know that you don't have Intel and I do not know if Atheros works the same way) and that's when I began wondering if your BT frequency was somehow interfering with your wifi.
Does the wifi drop if the BT headphones ARE NOT connected?

p.s. You also want to try bringing the laptop closer to the router - like right next to it and see if the wifi drops.
I understood what you meant at the time you posted it. It is interesting to know and made me wonder if one was connected to the other.I didn't mention that BT would cause the internet drop. I only suggested that both dropped out. And that this is interesting to know.
