The repair option from add/remove , after it did not work, said to reinstall 3.5SP1 to make the repair--- so I tried that. I did that before I saw your Cleanup tool post. I am now going to try cleanup tool. Henceforth, I will do nothing before you tell me to. Thanks for all your help.
