[SOLVED] KB5013942 failed with error 0x800f0922

Hi,

Start the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool again.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this system. Do not run this script on another system.
  • Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  • Right-click on FRST.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  • Press the Fix button.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally.
  • When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  • Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Reboot the system and try to update Windows, if it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

  • Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  • Right-click to run the tool as administrator.
  • Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  • Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Is this version of Windows legal and correctly activated? If so, please perform the following.

Follow these instructions to rebuild the tokens.dat file.
  • Open the Start menu of Windows and type the command CMD
  • When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  • Copy and paste the following commands one at a time into the command prompt and press enter after each.
  • Note: When you see the "The Software Protection service is not started" message, you can ignore it.

Output in cmd was quiet much so i copied the output to the attached textfile. Didn't see any errors so far

This looks good, please check the activation status:

  • Press the Windows icon on the keyboard together with the letter I, to get into the Settings..
  • Choose Update & Security and from the menu at the left Activation.
  • Your activation status will be listed next to Activation:

It says "Windows is activated using your organization's activation service". No pop-up telling me another story so far

Okay, please try to Update Windows, if it fails perform a new scan with FRST and post both logs, as well a new copy of the CBS log.
 
Still the same error, please run the following command in a elevated command prompt and post the result.

Can you please try to reactivate the system with the Product Key of Windows 10 Pro N? Use the following commands in a elevated command prompt.

In the latest FRST logs I've noticed that an update for .NET failed as well, but both are installed without any problems now?
