Lenovo Yoga 7 Gen 7: DPC Watchdog Violation (Bugcheck code: 0x133)

Most of the time it either doesn't give me the choice to roll back driver or the roll back driver is still quite new (like from 2024 april to 2024 feb) so I just choose the oldest version possible for each AMD drivers.

Here is the modification that I made.

Then choose to show only the device instance id column.
Select and copy all values (excluding the mediatek one, the penultimate).
Open windows group policy editor, gpedit.msc.
Navigate to: local computer policy, computer configuration, administrative templates, system, device installation, device installation restrictions: Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device instance IDs.
Paste (there) all device instance IDs.
Make sure the policy shows as enabled before exiting from gpedit.
Then you can re-enable windows updates.

Post also a screenshot of the policy... (I don't have the pro version, hence I'm curious).

Done.
I am ok with leaving windows update disable for now as it is going to try installing 24H2. Should I upgrade though? I am just worried that 24H2 is buggy enough to cause more BSOD
Btw why you didn't purchase the Pro version? Is the Home edition enough? Just curious cause I know both have its pros and cons.

Or maybe it is less buggy. :D
We'll see: if BSODs disappear with lenovo chipset/vga drivers, you could create a system image and then proceed with the windows 24H2 upgrade.
If BSODs won't disappear, we'll try to update windows and amd drivers.

Currently, we are still trying the clean startup with lenovo drivers.

It should be "Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device instance IDs".
You edited "Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device IDs".

I had windows 8 home/standard... With the upgrades remained home.

Is it because I didn't restart after setting the policy?View attachment 112534

Check gpedit.
From the picture it seems you edited "Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device IDs".
It should have been "Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device instance IDs".

Do you have any idea what is AMD System(shown in Windows Update) in Device Manager?
Update: Turns out it update AMD Crash Defender only after I check the version of each driver one by one using #81

Windows Update doesn't offer me 24H2 updates so I will just wait until it offers me again.
And Windows Update doesn't update drivers those drivers after changing the policy correctly this time :)

No... Even if I disabled the driver, it showed as started.
Also in your logs shows as started.
It seems it can't be disabled...
Can you see/find amd crash defender in amd adrenalin GUI or between programs in windows start?
