[SOLVED] Need Help Please! SFCFix FAILED TO REPAIR CORRUPTED DATA on windows 7 64bit

Perform a new scan with FRST.

FRST Scan:
  1. Right-click to run FRST64.exe as administrator.
  2. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  3. Press the Scan button.
  4. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  5. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.

  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.

Step 2:
Download

Double-click on it to start it.
Click Computerscan
In the window "Choose a scantype", click Full Scan.
In the window "Detection of Potentially Unwanted Applications", select Enable ESET to detect and quarantaine potentially unwanted applications.
Click Start scan
The scanner will update itself first and start afterwards. This might take several hours to complete so please be patient.
Note: Do NOT click on 1 of 5 information fields that appear during the scan. It could start the installation of "ESET Internet Security". You can still abort this.
Do not use the computer for other purposes during the scan.

When the scan is completed, click "Save scan log", enter the filename "Eset.txt" and save in on your desktop.
Click several times on Continue to finish and close the "esetonlinescanner".

Attach the file "Eset.txt" on your desktop to your next reply.

I've attached the two log files.

I also read somewhere that since windows 7 reached its end of life,this version of windows has become too old to contact the Microsoft servers.Could that be a valid thing and be the reason for the update error code?

No, Windows Update tried to install SP1 yesterday but failed.

Open the list with available Windows Updates and take a screenshot and paste it into your next reply.

Windows update is still giving me the error code so I cant access the list of available updates.As for the sp1 update ,I downloaded that from the Microsoft update catalog and tried to do a manual install.I think it failed because I later noticed that the application's digital signature information stated that the digital signature is not valid.

Collect System Variables
  1. Click the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

    Code:
    set > "%userprofile%\Desktop\set.txt"
  4. This will create a file, set.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
 
The Path variable is missing some items.

Step 1:
Open the Explorer.
Right-click Computer at the left side and select Properties.
Click Advanced system settings.
Click the button Environment Variables
In the list System variables, select Path then click Edit
Copy and paste the text below in the inputbox. Make sure to replace the current text in the inputbox.
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-14.0.2\bin;C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Shell 8.0\bin\

Click OK, click OK, and ones again OK to close all windows.
Restart the machine.

Good. The proxyserver seems to be gone.
Check Windows Update again and report the result. Does it show a list of available important updates now ?

Step 1:
WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Step 2:
Restart the computer.
Check Windows Update again and report the result.
