[SOLVED] :NET Framework updates fails -error 643-

Hi,

Open the Control Panel > Programs and Features locate the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 right click on it and select Uninstall/change on the next window choose the option to Repair.

Let me know the result.
 
Hello SD, i have exactly the same NF 4.7.2 twice installed: one in english & the spanish version. I did repair the original version & ev´rything was right (at the end system asked me for seeking new versions to install but i haven´t touch nothing more)...what do i do with the spanish version installed?... leave it as it is? uninstall? Must i go for newer NF versions & try to install? Please lead me, thanks again...
 
Hi, we´ve got the same failure we had before with that kb4495588...it refuses to be installed (i´ve seen during install process that program first do a security check -ok- & after it tries to reverse NDP-47-KB4495588, here is where it fails) ...CBS attached, regards

Because its reversing what the installation did.

Please check the %temp% folder and attach any file with references to kb4495588.

Lets see if we can find what its happening...

SFCFix Script
  • Download SFCFix.exe (by Niemiro) and save it to the Desktop
  • Download the file SFCScript.txt, attached below, and save this to your Desktop
  • On your Desktop, make sure you have the two files:
    myjIXnC.png
    SFCFix.exe and
    8RAhYFg.gif
    SFCScript.txt
  • Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it
  • The SFCFix tool will process the script
  • Upon completion, a log file SFCFix.txt should be created on your Desktop
  • Open the SFCFix.txt log and copy & paste the contents to your post

Lets try the following fix and see what happens...

Farbar Recovery Scan Fix

!!! WARNING !!! The following fix is only relevant for this system and no other, running the script on another computer will not work and may cause problems...
  • Download FRST or FRST x64 and save it to the Desktop.
    (Please pick the version that matches your operating system's bit type. If you don't know which version matches your system, try FRST if it say that is not compatible with your OS you have to use FRST64)
  • Highlight the contents of the box below, right click on it and select Copy to transfer the script to the Windows Clipboard
