Released to the Fast Ring, Insider Build 11082. Included in the known issues:

  • Language packs and Features on Demand will fail to install

Released to the Fast Ring yesterday, Insider Build 11099.

The issue with the progress bar has been fixed in this build. Known issues include the following:

  • Log on for devices using Citrix XenDesktop may be broken. If you use XenDesktop, it is recommended you move to the Slow ring.
  • Applications that depend on Adobe Flash may crash upon launch, affecting some versions of Skype, QQ, WeChat, etc. It does not affect Edge or IE.

Insider Build 11102 released to the Fast Ring.

New: New history menu in Microsoft Edge

Known issues:

  • Some PC games will crash switching from windowed mode to full screen, upon game resolution change, or upon launch due to a bug in Windows graphics stack. We have observed this with The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Assassin’s Creed, and Metal Gear Solid V but it may occur with other titles as well.
  • With this build (and with the last build), applications such as Narrator, Magnifier, and third-party assistive technologies may experience intermittent issues or crashes. If you rely on screen readers or other software, you should not use this build. This issue will be fixed with the next build.
  • You might see a WSClient.dll error dialog after logging in. We’re working on a fix for this but as a workaround, you can run the following in Command Prompt with administrative rights: schtasks /delete /TN “\Microsoft\Windows\WS\WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask” /F
  • While attempting to update to this build, your PC may show a message that your wireless card is not compatible with Windows 10. The workaround is to visit the support page for your PC or wireless card and install the newest driver that is available.
  • The Connect button does not show up in Action Center.

New: New history menu in Microsoft Edge

From Twitter, where some people were moaning about the lack of features:

Yep. If you've ever tried writing your own kernel it takes a little while until you can actually start testing functionality. It's not like most projects where you can write code and see something happen within the first 5 minutes.

I can confirm that one lol

Insider Build 14251 released to Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14251 | Windows Experience Blog

Bug Fixes:
  • We fixed the issue where some PC games would crash switching from windowed mode to full screen, upon game resolution change, or upon launch due to a bug in Windows graphics stack. So play your games! If you run into any issues – please let us know by reporting in the Feedback app and include the game title.
  • We fixed the issue where applications such as Narrator, Magnifier, and third-party assistive technologies may experience intermittent issues or crashes.
  • We fixed an issue where File Explorer would crash frequently when DPI settings were at 175%.

Known Issues:
  • You might see a WSClient.dll error dialog after logging in. We’re working on a fix for this but as a workaround, you can run the following in Command Prompt with administrative rights: schtasks /delete /TN “\Microsoft\Windows\WS\WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask” /F
  • The Connect button does not show up in Action Center. The workaround is to press Windows key + P and then click “Connect to a wireless display”.
  • Due to a recent memory management change, you may see periodic app crashes or other memory related app errors. The workaround is to reboot your PC.

How are people finding this build? Personally I'm finding it very unstable. For sure this is to be expected on the fast channel, but I'm experiencing all manner of problems from the persistent app crashing as given in the known issues through to a completely non-functional copy and paste, no network drives, and a number of other smaller quirks. Lack of copy and paste is driving me crazy :p

Insider Build 14257 Released to Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14257 | Windows Experience Blog

Lots of bug fixes and the WSClient.dll error continues. However, of note is the following known issue:
If you choose “Reset This PC” under Settings > Update & Security > Recovery – your PC will be in an unusable state. There is no workaround if your PC gets into this state and you will need to reinstall Windows. This issue will be fixed in the next build. You can still rollback to the previous build if for some reason this build doesn’t work out for you. This bug also existed in Build 14251 so please avoid resetting your PC on these builds.

Additional information in the referenced announcement.

Thanks for tip (especially about the reset issue)! .... The last two builds have been so unstable I'm moving my Insider laptop to the Slow ring. Pretty rough betas, those last two.

I'm with OldGrayGary here....as soon as I find a stable build I'm putting it back on either Slow or Release channel. Too unstable. At the moment though I can do neither as the option doesn't work in this build :p

Thanks for the link to update history, Tekno Venus.

Another Insider Build this week 14257 .... seems more stable than the last one. So far, so good.

I agree. So far, Build 14257 has seemed more stable than the previous. I just wish I could figure out what is going on with Flash Player on the Windows 10 Insider builds for IE and Edge. How do we know that "version 21.0.0.100" has the critical security updates that were released by Adobe today? If Adobe has provided an updated version to Microsoft, why not make it available for everyone else?

Has to go through testing and release with a newer build - if you're on the fast ring, if you haven't gotten an update yet, you will shortly. I believe the minor build number is .136 or .146 that has all the latest updates in it, iirc.

Insider Build 14267 released to Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14267.

Known issuesWe have only one known issue for this build. If you’re using Hyper-V and upgrade to this build with more than one vswitch or have multiple virtual networking adapters (including legacy), you may lose networking connectivity after upgrade. To get network connectivity back, there are two workarounds available:
  • Remove all the virtual network adapters connected to the vswitch, delete the vswitch and recreate it, then reconnect their virtual NIC to the new vswitch.
  • Admin command prompt, do “netcfg -d” will wipe-out all the vswitch settings so that you can start from scratch.

Note: “Reset This PC” under Settings > Update & Security > Recovery should now work as expected.

Are there any builds of Windows 10 that still have the 'Refresh this PC' option? That used to be really handy on Windows 8 & 8.1
