New Builds Released

Actually, this was the first time I had a problem with a Fast Ring install, which failed the first attempt and automatically restored to the previous build. However, the second time worked just fine. Following are the options available in Settings > Update & Security > Recovery:
  1. Reset this PC
  2. Go back to an earlier build
  3. Advanced startup (start from USB/DVD/restore image)

Are there any builds of Windows 10 that still have the 'Refresh this PC' option? That used to be really handy on Windows 8 & 8.1

There's a "Reset This PC" option which allows you to choose whether files are kept or deleted. Windows is re-installed however.

Insider Build 14271 released to the Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14271 + Mobile Build 14267.1004.

Regarding known issues, please note that there is a known driver bug that prevents Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Internet Security or Kaspersky Total Security Suite from working as expected. See other known issues as well as fixes in the above-linked blog post.

Insider Build 14279 released to the Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14279.

The driver bug with Kaspersky software has not yet been resolved. Also, if experiencing freezing or BSOD when resuming from hibernation, disabling hibernation has worked for some but not all. See the blog post for other issues as well as what's new.

Just a heads up, my preview machine fails to boot after the upgrade from 14316 to 14328.
I've just finished rebuilding the boot configuration after my second attempt.

Cleared out the update and am currently downloading again with fingers crossed - hoping third time's the charm.

No it isn't. It is a 2008 desktop, originally with Windows Vista and upgraded to Windows 7. I installed Windows 10 Insider Preview on a separate partition.

I've been looking forward to trying Windows Ink, but I can't get 14332 to install. It gets to about 10% through copying files and then reboots and rolls back to my current install. Seems to be failing with 0x8024200D. I've tried clearing SoftwareDistribution, but doesn't seem to help

Insider Preview Build 14342 Released (unexpectedly*) to Fast Ring: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14342.

There are several updates of interest for Extensions in Microsoft Edge, including that extensions are now available from the Windows Store, which makes more sense than the way they started. In addition, AdBlock and Adblock Plus are available in the Windows Store (finally). See the referenced blog post for other Edge changes.

This update includes a very long list of fixes and the know issues seems to be getting shorter.

* Gabriel Aul on Twitter: "Some #WindowsInsiders have reported getting PC build 14342. We were staging this for tomorrow and looks like it published too far."

Insider Preview Build 14361 Released to Fast Ring for PC and Mobile: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14361 | Windows Experience Blog.

Lots of fixes and LastPass extension added for Microsoft Edge. For anyone wanting to adjust their Privacy settings, you may want to hold off on this build:

Navigating to the Privacy pages in Settings app will crash the Settings app and prevent you from adjusting your privacy settings. Your privacy settings already set will remain intact after updating to this build. If this is a blocker for you, you can move to the Slow ring until this bug is fixed or be sure to set your privacy settings before updating to this build.

First desktop build from Dona Sarkar ;)

I'm glad they fixed the problems opening youtube.com etc. in IE and Edge. That was a bit of a pain on the last build. Next one should be cool hopefully though :)

Insider Preview Build 14366 & Mobile Build 14364: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14366 & Mobile Build 14364 | Windows Experience Blog.

Lots of improvements and fixes again, including the fix for the Settings app when navigating to the Privacy pages.

Some new things

Office Online for Microsoft Edge: Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Sway Online without needing Office installed. The Office Online extension is the quickest way to view, edit, create Office files in Microsoft Edge! You can also quickly access your recent files, thanks to integration with OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. Visit our extensions page at the Microsoft Edge Dev website to learn more and try it out for yourself!

Windows Store Update: A Store update (Version 11606.1000.43.0) is rolling out today that includes some good performance improvements to prevent the Store from crashing and using up too much resources on your devices. You should see an overall improvement navigating the Store and visiting app pages.
