HELP - ANYONE?

To anyone else reading this post my original problem has been moved here by Teckno Venus.
SFC problems on laptop with a replacement disk drive

The original question was posted 05-14-2015, 11:51 AM and I'm getting a bit concerned that it has been overlooked?
I would really appreciate if anyone could help, otherwise it looks like I will be forced to return the laptop to factory defaults.
And I really do not want to do that if I can possibly avoid it.
It will take me weeks to get back all the app (GOTD) and tweaks I have made.
Not to mention the ones whose CD I can't find or keys I've lost.

If anyone needs any more details, log files or anything else please just let me know.
I'm happy to wait for however long is required if I know that there is some help at the end of the tunnel.
I appreciate that you are all volunteers and you have loads of other people asking for help.

In the mean time, is there anything I could read online to try and help myself?
Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Tony

PLEASE - is there anyone there?
:noidea:
It's been weeks, and so far, NOTHING.
I'm quite happy to wait if someone can give me a hint that I'm "in line" for help.
Next week, next month, next year?
:thud:

Basically can anyone help or give any advice on the following SFC error.

Hi tbruneti -

I'm glad you posted here as I didn't see the thread (maybe because it was moved to the forum and not initially put in) as I didn't get notified. I'll review it sometime today/tonight. Sorry for the delay.

Something got messed up somehow! I am new to this forum so I probably did it, but don't know how. 05-29-2015 I started a thread: Issues with SFC. 05-30-2015 I got notified by Robdav about thread: SP1 Update problem. I don't think this was for me and I replied that. I think the owner of that thread: SP1 Update Problem is looking for the post I answered and I am in the dark about my thread: Issues with SFC. Can someone please look at this and advise?

Go The Power was working with me on SP1 Update Problem but I have not heard anything for nine days. Instead Ray Pewa (a new member) says he is getting my thread. Has something gone awry with the thread? Thanks.

Hi Tony,
Looking at all the files you have submitted and realizing this problem really dates back to the day you I assume cloned the bad drive with Paragon or restored an image file, having used Paragon before I know that it can easily restore a corrupted image file or clone a corrupted drive, something Acronis or Macrium would not do and reading the multitudinous error messages you are getting, for the life of me I don't know why you don't use you restore disks or Recovery Partition to go back to day 1 as it sounds like you have your files and data safe but if not you can copy and paste out anything you need first and then restore. Spending over a month trying to resurrect a Windows OS that has to be a mass of corruptions is totally foolish waste of time and you can see that from what you have done so far. To add to the corrupted install you used a reg cleaner besides? A reg cleaner cannot possibly do anything but further reduce the OS to ruins as was mentioned to you here earlier. Had you done a clean install on May 14 I cannot imagine any tweaks that could not have been done in a few days and you would have had a functioning computer for almost a month. You have to know the total picture and it started with what my tests have shown to be flawed software, namely Paragon which I would never recommend. Macrium Reflect, EaseUs To Do backup or Acronis all IMHO are far superior products that I believe would never have led you down this road.

This is not an uncommon experience when cloning from failing drives regardless of what software is used (including Acronis, Ghost, Clonezilla, etc.) and is frequently the source of Windows Update problems and system file corruption.
Some users prefer to avoid a total reload when possible and though it may take longer that is their choice.

That was accomplished circa 6\3, so I'm not sure what the goal was with your post after the fact but it comes across as rather rude in more than one place.
I don't think that is the type of impression anyone wants to give as a helper (making the assumption that helping others is what you were intending to do here).

Have a pleasant day :)

computerwhiz the guy has been waiting and waiting for answers and look at all the logs he has posted. I don't mean to be rude just practical. If no one can fix this in a month why waste his time any longer as it is so obvious there is way too much wrong. And I mean to tell you the good image creation programs will not work on a totally corrupted hard drive and Acronis Macrium and EaseUs as well as Storage Craft are the top of the line. The other ones you mention are not worth using IMHO. This is my opinion but you will find that most familiar with backup programs would agree to that. And whether Paragon is a good or bad program is sort of irrelevant as it is obvious this OS is as badly corrupted as any I have ever seen.

Hi, Rob. It appears that Rob got confused and was in the wrong thread. Go The Power's time has been extremely limited and may continue that way for a few more weeks due to his real-life work schedule. Please see the instructions provided by zcomputerwiz so Go The Power will have the latest information.

Thanks!
