Problem with windows update - now boots to black screen with cursor. SFC & DISM no longer work. Can't repair.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Something went wrong. You provided a log file created on July 2 2023.
Perform the instructions in message #426 again.
 
1. Click the Start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on the cmd that comes up and select Run as administrator.
3. Once you are at the command prompt, copy/paste the following line and press enter.
pnputil -a C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_mf.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16521_none_b034bbf160fa08cd\mf.inf

4. You will likely receive a prompt that the publisher of the driver cannot be verified. Please install the driver anyway as this message is normal.
 
Attach the file C:\Windows\INF\setupapi.dev.log to your next reply.
 
ok, tried that, element not found unfortunately. Here's the latest dev.log too

I tried to install KB2919355 several times, it eventually said it took, but when I checked for updates again it said I still needed to install so not sure what is correct.

Provide the System Hive
  1. Start the program Regedit.exe.
  2. In the left pane of Regedit browse to the key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
  3. Right-click on it and select “Export”.
  4. Choose as file location your desktop.
  5. Typ for the file name "SYSTEM" and choose as type “Registry Hive Files (*.*)”.
  6. Click the button Save.
  7. When completed you can close Regedit.
  8. Attach the file SYSTEM which should be now on your desktop to your next reply.
 
Do you have a " Multifunction PC-Card" in your machine ?
If so, can you disconnect it ?

Maybe this is my multi sd card reader? I can disable it, but to disconnect I would need to take apart my laptop. Is there some problem with it? Thanks
